The IE’s Varsity College Cape Town campus is home to the VC Cricket Club, launched in 2020, is registered with the Western Province cricket association and has 2 mens teams and compete in the Western Province 2nd & 3rd divisions with the vision to add a ladies’ team.

It’s a student centric club that participated in the USSA Cricket Week, and the league teams are open to a limited number of alumni and local community members. Practices and home matches are played at the western Province Cricket Club, mainly at the Vineyard Oval and there is great synergy between the two clubs. The VC Cricket Club’s acquisition of top-class coaches and players will assist in the club’s development.
