The Key Differences Between An IIE BCom Law Degree And An IIE LLB Degree

Always dreamed of becoming a lawyer? You’re not alone. Thanks to shows like Suits and Law and Order, we’ve all considered a career in the courtroom. Although they may not be entirely realistic, practicing law is certainly as rewarding as they make it out to be on TV. And there’s more than one way to reach your goal of making law your bread and butter. Two of these ways are studying an IIE BCom Law or an IIE LLB degree at The IIE’s Varsity College.

So which do you choose? The difference between these law degree options can be a little confusing but we’re here to set the record straight. At The IIE’s Varsity College, we like to keep you informed. Remember, the career you’ve always wanted is just an IIE qualification away.

So which do you choose?

It all depends on you and your dreams at the end of the day. Many tend to go for the BCom Law as it offers a greater degree of flexibility in case you change your mind later on. This often happens and many lawyers decide that they’d like to start a business or pursue something a little different. With a degree that’s a bit more broad, you’ll enjoy the peace of mind and freedom that comes with knowing you could change lanes if and when you wanted to. However, if you feel like you were born to be a lawyer, choosing an LLB makes the most sense.
