IIE Varsity College Scholarship Programme

The IIE’s Varsity College scholarship programme is based on academic excellence and merit which is designed to nurture South Africa’s future leaders and thinkers. It will also provide an opportunity for learners to access quality private higher education, which might otherwise be unaffordable, equipping them with the skills and means to thrive.

Undergraduate Scholarships

Scholarship applicants must have achieved a minimum average of 75% in Grade 11 and will be required to submit their final Grade 11 year-end report (reflecting results for Terms 1 to 4 and the overall final average for the year) or their final National Senior Certificate (NSC) results.

Postgraduate Scholarships

Scholarships are awarded subject to academic achievement. To be eligible, students must have attained a minimum average of 75% in the final year of their undergraduate programme, where this has already been completed. For students currently in their final year, eligibility will be determined based on their academic performance at the end of Semester 1.
