By broadening access to quality higher education, we are confident that studying with us will pave the way to achieving your goals.

  1. The applicant is a South African citizen with a South African ID card/document.
  2. The applicant has successfully applied to study with us, including having paid the application fee and the application to study has not expired. (The application to study with us is a separate application process to the Fee Assistance Plan application)
  3. The Fee Assistance Plan application is considered in respect of a first-time, full-time contact, undergraduate qualification (including current Higher Certificate students articulating into an undergraduate degree qualification in 2026).
  4. The combined annual income (income after applicable taxes and/or salary deductions) of the applicant’s parents/legal guardians is below R700,000 per annum and has been verified as such by the institution.
  5. The account payer(s) is not under debt review.
  1. The applicant is applying to study a distance and/or part-time and/or postgraduate qualification.
  2. Applicants who are recipients of an institution issued staff discount, major bursary and/or scholarship with the institution.
  3. Applicants who are successful/eligible recipients of external bursaries.
  4. Returning students.
