The Independent Institute of Education (IIE) at Varsity College and The Open University have established an exciting and innovative progression partnership that provides opportunities for IIE graduates to progress to an internationally recognised UK honours degree without the need to leave their country to study.
The Open University, IIE and Varsity College are working together to fulfil their shared commitment to student-centred learning and to enable South African students to successfully transfer to online study with The Open University.
This progression partnership offers a pathway from either the IIE Bachelor of Commerce (BCOM) or Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communication (BA CC) with the equivalent of just one further full-time year of extra study on line via a credit transfer arrangement onto the Open University's BA or BSc Open Degree with honours.
