Once you’ve selected which type of accounting course you’d like to study, it’s merely a case of selecting which field is most attractive to you. There are many fields for you to pick from, each one completely different to the other. For example, you might be interested in financial accounting, which deals with the finances of a business or organisation. Or perhaps you’re keen on management accounting, which focuses on how financial information can be utilised in the workplace. - Job market
In South Africa there is a perpetual need for qualified accountants and bookkeepers. Both degrees are beneficial in the long run as they are essential in business. - Type of degree
