Describe your daily duties:
On a daily basis, I do cash counts, collect and analyse data, count stock and fixed assets, reconcile Pastel accounts and report to management.

What are your future career plans?
I would like to teach children from disadvantaged backgrounds about basic financial knowledge and continue working in finance and be extremely good at it.

How has the Career Centre assisted you while you were at The IIE’s Varsity College and or as a graduate?
The Career Centre has been extremely helpful; they would check in from time to time and invite me to career workshops. If it weren’t for the Career Centre Platform, I wouldn’t have known about my current job, which is where I saw the job post.

What advice would you give to students who are looking for or about to embark on their first job?
Ask a lot of questions, believe in yourself and work extremely hard (make it hard for them to replace you).
