  • As an update to the graduation cancellation notice above, we have received many emails. We share your deep disappointment with having to cancel graduation. They are a celebration that everyone enjoys and that graduates deeply deserve. COVID-19 has changed the world for all of us and this is just one of the prices we are paying. You will, I am sure, be aware that many other institutions have made the same decision for very much the same reasons. We do not believe it is appropriate to withhold graduation qualifications so we are issuing those as soon as we can. To further clarify, Graduation is an official event, where qualifications are conferred similar to all other institutions. If we postpone Graduation, The IIE is not able to confer and distribute these qualifications. It is important that students be able to receive their Testamurs. To postpone the event would mean that you would not be able to receive your Testamurs until then. A celebratory event will be arranged at another stage and we are exploring alternative options as well. We do not know when this will be as we have no definite date when the COVID-19 threat will diminish to the level where gatherings above 100 are allowed.
