NETWORKING FOR SUCCESS
Varsity College Cape Town recently hosted an interactive networking workshop and cocktail party for all final year students as well as recent Alumni.
About 60 students and alumni attended the informative workshop hosted by the Careers Centre and the Alumni Coordinator. Guest speaker and national Alumni Coordinator Andrea van den Berg discussed the importance of effective networking and highlighted some tips for improving networking skills.
The Careers Centre Coordinator Leigh Bowden said ‘Networking is such an important skill to have in any industry. This is why we felt the need to equip our students with the necessary skills before they enter the workplace.’
