To encourage academic excellence from our students, the Night of the Stars was launched in 2008. At a glittering function students are honoured for their achievements in the previous year of study; be it 8 module distinctions; an overall 80% aggregate for the year, or a noteworthy academic achievement.

Each student is awarded a handcrafted Trayci Tompkins Dlamini Doll. Like each of our students, each Dlamini Doll is unique.

This national event is held annually and, while not in any way replacing the formal academic graduation of each student, it encourages students to strive for academic excellence whilst studying at Varsity College.
