This year marked the launch of a passionate partnership between the Shedders Cricket Academy and Varsity College in Kwazulu Natal. The Shedders Cricket Academy, founded in 2006 by Andrew Shedlock, has grown from strength to strength.

Varsity College believes it is essential that the students equip themselves with the knowledge and qualifications necessary to continue their careers beyond their sporting achievements.

The students will split their time between lectures at the three Varsity College campuses in KZN and the Shedders Cricket Academy based in Pietermaritzburg and Durban; where they will develop as players, coaches, umpires, scorers and receive instruction in sport nutrition and sport psychology.
