Bronwyn Gordon, a first year sports development and management student at Varsity College Sandton, represented South Africa and Varsity College at the 2011 World Duathlon Championship in Gijon, Spain.

Bronwyn competed with a number of other S.A. team mates and took part in the sprint series, 16-19 age category, and placed 2nd in her category with a time of 01:17:34.
