Varsity College has partnered with The Sharks Academy as their academic provider since 2004. In the first year, 18 students registered for the BCom Marketing degree. This has grown to 52 aspiring young rugby players registered this year.

Part of our philosophy is to encourage students to strike a healthy balance between academic and sporting achievements. Since partnering with the Sharks Academy, we have played a vital role in equipping over 196 aspiring young Sharks players with the knowledge and qualifications necessary to assure their continued success through and beyond their sporting careers.

A success story we are proud to share is that of Tendai “The Beast” Mtawarira, who is currently studying towards his BCom Marketing degree with Varsity College.
