Bachelor of Business Administration in Hospitality Management

introduction
This qualification will provide candidates with a deep exposure to management and service theory contextualised for hospitality management and administration, including: hospitality marketing, -finance, and -human resources which are key disciplines in the hospitality management and administration industry, needed to allow managers to make decisions within the broad context of the hospitality establishment. Graduates will be able to enter the hospitality industry as responsible administrators and managers able to think critically and strategically to grow and contribute to this fast growing sector.
 
Who is this Bachelor’s degree aimed at?
This qualification is aimed at students who wish to develop a deeper understanding of the critical success factor of the business side of this industry and who will be able to successfully function as managers in the hospitality business.
 
What entry requirements will I need to study this Bachelor’s degree?

A NSC with degree entry or the equivalent (note: students with other/foreign school-leaving qualifications must be competent in English, the language of instruction).

If you have not met these minimum entry requirements but have a NSC with higher certificate or diploma entry into higher education, you may wish to consider registering for the IIE Higher Certificate in Business Principles & Practice (HCBPP), or the Higher Certificate in Events Management first as a pathway to this degree.  Academic credit for some modules to the degree may be given.
