This Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communication offers students a quality learning experience in the contemporary, interesting and stimulating communication field. Corporate communication is the key method employed by organisations to align their strategies internally and externally to achieve business excellence.  Corporate communication includes all the processes of facilitating information and knowledge exchanges with and between internal and key external groups and individuals that have a direct relationship with the organisation. By providing you with a thorough grounding in the key disciplines of communication science, organisational psychology and business management this degree will equip you to play a meaningful role in this exciting area with solid theoretical knowledge backed with strong problem solving, critical thinking and strategic skills linked to communication at both an individual and societal level in a socially responsible and creative way.
 
Who is this Degree aimed at?

This degree will appeal to you if you enjoy communicating and achieving goals using communication as the key way to do this. You will be interested in this degree if you are interested in forming strong relationships, are outgoing and interested in a team and goal orientated career in which you can research, plan and implement communication in a range of corporate contexts.

If you are keen to use your skills within the business environment and you find the idea of being able to assist an organisation in looking at ways to improve their communication with their stakeholders, so that they can reach their business objectives in an ethical and socially responsible manner, improve their public image, solve communication issues, invest in their community and plan corporate communication strategies to name but a few, then this is the degree for you.

 
What entry requirements will I need to study this Degree?

A NSC with degree entry or the equivalent (note: students with other/foreign school-leaving qualifications must be competent in English, the language of instruction).

If you have not met these minimum entry requirements but have a NSC with higher certificate or diploma entry into higher education, you may wish to consider registering for the IIE Higher Certificate in Event Management first as a pathway to this degree. The IIE Higher Certificate in Event Management programme is an alternative route of gaining entry into the IIE BA in Corporate Communication degree (in the next academic year).

What does this mean for our students? It means that the IIE’s brand new Bachelor  of Corporate Communications (BCC) has been recognised and approved by the Open University (based in the United Kingdom) to carry exemption for 240 credits towards the OU Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Open Degrees, with Honours. Thus, students completing the IIE BCC degree will have the opportunity to continue studying and articulate their degree into an internationally recognised UK Honours degree.
